Sharon Herring

CEO

The Matriarch of Herring, Sharon steers the ship in the office. As CEO, she is responsible for all operations of the company. The buck really does stop with her. Sharon is the skipper of the boat the Herrings sail, which shows she's really in command.

If you stop by to visit or apply to work at Herring, you'll surely spend some time with Sharon. 

Amanda Delmar

Closer

Amanda is a Herring grandchild and has been helping out in the Herring office since she graduated a few years ago. She always brings a lot of fun and energy to the office when she is here. Amanda often takes leaves of absence to pursue her passion of acting. She recently completed improv classes at Hudson Valley Improv and works for the Headless Horseman and other venues.

Amy Herring

CFO, COO and Manager of Portable Toilet Division

Amy is responsible for all things financial at Herring Sanitation. She manages the payroll, billing and community contributions. Amy is also in charge of the Portable Toilet division for Herring. Amy takes her job seriously and can also be counted on for plenty of fun and laughs. Want ideas for a good lunch order? Amy is the one to call.

Zac Ashburn

IT

Zac is yet another Herring grandchild. He helps his grandmother, Sharon, on many projects that including printing, marketing, purchasing and more. Zac always has lots of great ideas to contribute to Herring's marketing conversations and we're always happy when he does.
Zac works remotely and lives in Las Vegas, NV. When he's in the office, he always livens things up.

Tina S.

Administrative Services Manager

Tina joined Herring Sanitation in 2016 and has worked her way up the ranks. As she has taken on more responsibility around the office, her organization and attention to detail never fail to impress. Tina started as a Closer and has been promoted over and over to Administrative Services Manager. She is also a great source of knowledge about the hottest shows on television.

Courtney Ashburn

Office Staff

Courtney is the youngest Herring grandchild. She is bright and an avid softball player. You may remember Courtney as a child appearing in some of our Stinky Winky videos. Courtney is a true athlete and excels in all she does. She is grown up now and headed off to college. We will miss her when she's away and always happy when she is in town to work with us in the office.

Julia P.

Office Staff

Julia is Sharon's niece and working with us for the summer helping out on Saturdays. Since this is a family business, you know we love that!

Her favorite things to do in her spare time are hanging out with friends and shopping (a lot). 

Mike E.

Office Staff

Mike has known the Herring family for almost his entire life. He joined the office staff in 2023. Michael has a background in finance and has a passion for delivering quality client service. He loves to cook, play multiple instruments and is an Eagle Scout.
